Research. Educate. Conserve.
I have a life goal - to learn as much as I can about the natural world and do as much as I can to protect and conserve it.
Our planet is under threat, biodiversity is being lost at an alarming rate, with many species going extinct before having even been discovered. Countless habitats are being destroyed, leaving ecosystems torn apart and dysfunctional. Wildlife are being overexploited for body parts, food sources and even sport. Indigenous people are being forced from their native lands by corrupt authorities. The time to make a change is now.
Follow me on my journey of adventure, education and conservation to do all I can in my lifetime to help prevent the remarkable wildlife, along with the ecosystems they comprise, from disappearing before our eyes. The discoveries and encounters I will have with the amazing fauna and flora of our world; and the truly breathtaking places nature has created will be documented for all to see.
My goal for this year is to complete my Master's by Research in the ecology, evolution, and behaviour of reef-associated fishes found in the reefs surrounding South Eleuthera, Bahamas. I aim to publish my work, which focuses on examining UV markings on select fish species, investigating how their presence may be influenced by pertinent life history parameters. Join me as the journey begins here!
